The Business of Cannabis & Bankruptcy - April 14 in Portland

Vince Sliwoski, Harris Bricken (Portland), will present in person next Friday, April 14, at the 36th Annual Northwest Bankruptcy Institute. Vince will be joined by Dominique Scalia of DBS Law Seattle (for “The Business of Cannabis and Bankruptcy”). This event is co-sponsored and sponsored by sections of both the Oregon State Bar and Washington State Bar. You can find more information about the two-day gathering, including registration information and CLE credit information here.
The timely topic of cannabis and insolvency, including possible bankruptcy relief for adjacent companies, is Cannabis and Insolvency. One reason is the difficulties of regulated cannabis entities across the country, especially in the west. The second reason is the creation of case law that applies to cannabis and insolvency. We encourage you to visit the downtown Portland Hilton, April 14, for the presentation by Dominique or Vince if you are a business lawyer in Oregon or Washington.
