Ohio Law Enforcement Sues Afroman for Online Security Footage

Local law enforcement raided Afroman’s Ohio home in September 2022. Although Afroman was not present, his private security camera recorded them searching his home for drugs and other illegal paraphernalia. Afroman posted videos of the officers on his social media channels with commentary mocking them as they searched his home. He even made two music videos with the footage, “Lemon Pound Cake” & “Will you help me repair my door.” Now, seven Adams County Sheriff’s Department Officers are suing him for using the footage without their consent. The officers are also suing because their faces became public, causing them emotional distress, embarrassment and ridicule. They are also asking Afroman to remove all photos and videos featuring them online.
